Online tutoring
Focused mathematics tutoring — wherever you are.
Online tutoring done properly is not a video call with a textbook. It's a shared working page where both of us write, think and correct together.
Shared whiteboard
We both write on the same page. I can see the working as it happens, which is where misconceptions actually show up.
Notes you keep
The complete worked page from each lesson is saved and sent afterwards for revision.
No travel time
Easier to keep lessons consistent around school, clubs and family life.
Same teaching
Identical structure, planning and feedback as in-person sessions.

Practicalities
What your child needs
- A laptop, desktop or tablet with a stable internet connection.
- A quiet space where they can talk out loud and think without an audience.
- Ideally a stylus or graphics tablet for writing maths — though paper and a camera works too.
- Any recent classwork, homework or assessment they'd like to go through.
Parents are always welcome to be nearby or to see the shared working from any session.
Not sure online is right for your child?
Tell me a little about them and I'll give you an honest view — including if I think in-person would suit them better.
