Plain English, and deliberately short: I collect the minimum needed to teach your child well and to bill you accurately.
Who is responsible
Joseph Eno, operating as an individual private mathematics tutor, is responsible for information collected through this website.
What I collect
- Parent or guardian name, email address and, if provided, phone number.
- The student's first name, year group, level and the difficulties described.
- Notes on lessons and progress, used to plan teaching and update you.
- A record of completed lessons for monthly billing.
What I don't collect
- Card or payment details — payment is by bank transfer directly to me.
- Special category data, unless you choose to tell me about a learning need.
- Information collected directly from students without a parent's involvement.
Why I use it
To reply to your enquiry, to plan and deliver tutoring, to keep you informed about progress, and to issue accurate monthly statements. I do not sell information or use it for advertising.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to tutoring are deleted within twelve months. Records for active or former students are kept while tutoring continues and for a reasonable period afterwards for billing and record-keeping, then deleted.
Sharing
I don't share your information with third parties except where necessary to run the service (for example email or video-call providers), or where I am legally required to, including in safeguarding situations.
Your rights
You can ask what I hold about you or your child, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Contact me through the contact page and I'll respond promptly.
