Payment & billing
You pay monthly, in arrears, for lessons that happened.
No packages bought upfront, no card on file, and no automatic payments.
How charging works
- Tutoring is charged by the hour at the rate agreed before lessons begin.
- Only completed lessons are recorded and charged.
- At the end of each calendar month you receive an itemised statement listing every lesson: date, duration and rate.
- Payment is made directly to me by bank transfer.
What is never used
There are no online card payments, no checkout, no payment gateway and no stored card details. Nothing is ever taken from your account automatically.
Payment terms
Statements are issued shortly after month end and are payable within the period stated on the statement. If a payment is going to be late, tell me — it's far easier to agree something than to leave it.
Rate changes
Rates are agreed in advance and will not change mid-month. Any future change is communicated clearly and in advance, and applies only to lessons after that date.
Queries and corrections
If anything on a statement looks wrong, raise it and I'll check the lesson record. Where a mistake has been made, the statement is corrected and reissued.
